I get it. Talking to a stranger can be difficult, at first.
Maybe I can help…
I believe we're all innately whole, worthy, and filled with the wisdom we need to thrive. My role is to help you find your way back to that truth. Given that we experience many of our greatest joys and deepest wounds in relationships, it makes sense that an authentic, supportive connection with someone who really sees and understands us can be a place for healing and transformation. I'm immensely grateful to have experienced this myself as both the therapist and the client (yes, therapists go to therapy too!)
I offer a compassionate, trauma-sensitive space where all parts of you are welcome and valued (even the ones you hate and feel ashamed of). I’m NOT here to fix you. We'll work together to understand how past and current experiences are impacting you presently, and what you're needing to grow into the version of yourself you want to become. Through our therapeutic relationship, we'll co-create a safe container where you can heal old wounds, accept long-rejected parts of yourself, and learn to relate to yourself in new ways. While our goals for therapy will be specific to your needs, my foundational aim is to support you in moving through life with more ease, joy, confidence, and connection.
“Safety isn’t the absence of threat. It is the presence of connection.” - Gabor Maté

Do you see signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder in yourself or your child?
~Diagnostic Evaluations are Essential~
(through a Neurodiversity-Affirming Lens)
There is no single symptom or behavior that identifies all individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). However, Diagnostic Evaluations (DX) for Autism identify a range of attributes and behaviors that lead to a diagnosis more consistently than others.
Being accurately identified as Autistic is like receiving a “user manual” to start learning your own authentic ways to move through this world. It is the start of a journey of learning about yourself and your neurology, your sensory, perceptual, and cognitive processes. It helps to understand WHY you may have felt like a failure time and time again, because you were being expected to be someone you weren’t, a square peg being forced repeatedly into a round hole. Through evaluation & support, you can begin to better understand and appreciate who you are and how you want to show up in this world….. just as you are!
“If you’ve met one person with Autism, you have met one person with Autism.” ~Dr. Stephen Shore (Autism Advocate)
