I’M AMY,

and I want you to know that you’re not alone. Life challenges can make us feel like we’re alone, lost, and disconnected from those that we love the most, but I truly believe in the power of change within each person. I’m here to listen to and support you, but also to encourage you to make tangible shifts to improve your quality of life. I will support you with action steps that you can use right away to find relief. My office can be your space for whatever you need. We can laugh, cry, sit in silence, or fill the time with words.

You are the sky. Everything else - it’s just the weather.
— Pema Chodron

Many new individuals I work with feel successful in many aspects of their outside life, but feel empty or disconnected when they are at home, or vice versa. They appear to be thriving many ways, yet can’t seem to manage to fix their closest relationships (sometimes with themselves) no matter how they try.

When you feel stuck, it can be a massive source of disconnection and isolation. It can also be an opportunity to strengthen your relationship, heal old wounds, and set yourself up for mental and emotional well-being in the long run.

Through our work together, I’ll help you reconnect to yourself so you can reconnect to your loved ones. By strengthening communication skills, examining relationship patterns, and practicing new ways of relating to each other, we’ll transform stressful experiences into experiences of learning and growth.

Neurodiversity - Affirming

My passion for the autistic population has been essential in both my personal and professional life for decades. I understand the experience of life through a neurodivergent lense, being late-diagnosed with ADHD in my 40’s. I feel honored to provide support to families, children, adults, and professionals who identify as, or love someone with, Autism.

I am a mother of two boys and one GIANT boxer. In my free time you’ll find me in the high country trail running, climbing mountains, paddle boarding or laughing and camping with friends - all of which I find and cherish here in Durango, Colorado. I’ve been in Durango since 1999 and am grateful to live here as every year passes.
